PRINCIPLES .....
.... arising from knowledge of situations that are not
acceptable. From
this perspective, the establishment of this association,
only the result of the realization that it in the 21first century
can
not address , there are still countries where the
illiteracy rate is 60%. (Source:
Federal Foreign Office 2008)
Alleviate this condition has the club FBiG
eV for
the small country Gambia made, where the illiteracy rate
is at 59.9%, according to the Foreign Office. For
roads, the federal government gave in 2004 in this
country of 44 million €, (which incidentally is mainly
spent in the area within which the tourists, but the
roads into the interior that have a sustainable recovery
desperately needed, are not affected) but the means for
cross-aids were removed, just run this year (2006) from
the only relief project to curb the spread of the
desert, without replacement. Private initiatives are
trying to prevent this.
Based on the following principles, we want to work in FBiG
Association:
On the level of communication ...
.... We attach importance to openness and accessibility
of all activities and services for interested people. We
pick up new ideas and initiatives from the environment
and build the FBiG
eV as a
lively forum for development prospects in the Gambia.
Acceptance and repression of freedom are the basic
pattern of exchanging ideas and opinions. As
a result, we come vereinsintern, to the people and
partner organizations to clear contracts traded in terms
of performance agreements.
We feel obligated to the public and ensure in all areas
of the Association for transparency.
At the organizational level, and cooperation ...
.... We are working on the basis of involvement and
participation. Structures
of administration have again and again checked for their
acceptability and suitability to be invited to help
shape the contemporary spoken. We
think it important to retain even outside of
professional management and program activity room for
self-enterprising group work or even newly created.
professional team work ...
.... We rely on collegial structures, will be encouraged
away from hierarchical structures in which a lively
exchange and assistance in their daily work. Differentiated
levels of communication (range planning, management team,
supervision) and division of labor between different
areas of work complement those structures. It
is important to us, by anchoring an organizational
(permanent adjustment of objectives, resources,
structures and operational results, the sensitivity of
current developments in our relief work mainly). Through
training we qualify for this process.
At the level of programming ...
.... We are working with a non profit orientation. By
this we mean a primacy of content over economic goals,
returns. Nevertheless,
we attach great importance to increase our margins
through economic action.
Low offers easier access. We offer the cost-income
participation in the offerings of the Association FBiG By
targeting, we strengthen this approach for certain age
groups. The
binding substance and direction of program development
activities, we are in the various disciplines
represented in the team skills and working approaches
this book.
For specific projects we are looking beyond the
co-operation with professionals. The
overall picture of the program is characterized by
maintaining a differentiated sectoral range of thematic
priorities, innovative approaches are introduced into
the socio-cultural work. In
addition, we consider when planning cross-cultural and
intergenerational relationships. With
these concepts, we combine the task of promoting
multi-ethnic society in a peaceful dialogue between
different cultures and bring it in view of decaying
generation ties the different cultural perspectives of
individual generations in a common focus.
